		<description>What's it like to run over one of these on your bike when its &lt;i&gt;not&lt;/i&gt; "run in"? As a general rule, protruding blivets seem like a really bad idea for bicyclists.

I'm more concerned with the basic maintenance that doesn't get done: bad curb-to-lane transitions, breaks in or near the curb, and so on.</description>
